From unique cabinetry solutions to little tricks, these ideas can make it feel as if you’ve doubled your kitchen’s square footage and storage space!

1. Hang a pegboard

Pegboards can hold hooks, Small shelves, pictures, notes, and more! Paint your pegboard to match your decor

2. Use the tops of your cabinets

This is a great place to store those once a year items and bulky gadgets that clutter your cabinet and counter space.

3. Get a fold-down table and folding chairs and hang them up

This can serve two purposes. The table and chairs are out of the way and look pretty hanging on the wall when you choose a design to match your room’s aesthetic.

4. Turn cabinet and pantry shelves into drawers

If you can’t renovate, simply add baskets to those shelves you’ll pull them out to easily access what’s in the back.

5. Use the sides of your cabinets

If you have cabinets that don’t butt up against a wall, you’ve got a few square feet of bonus storage space. It’s true! You can hang a pot rail, utensil bar, add shelves, and more.

A mirror makes any small space look bigger. Bonus point: Use mirrored shelves
